Why Managed Sourcing

The coordination is the work. Not just the factories.

Sourcing direct can work — but it means the buyer absorbs the coordination cost across every stage of production.

Sourcing Direct

With MM Fashions

01

Finding factories suited to your specific product type, construction, and quality requirements.

Factory matching based on verified capability — not the closest or cheapest option.

02

Managing product development across multiple conversations, time zones, and languages.

Development coordinated through a single accountable point of contact.

03

Obtaining and comparing costings from factories in different markets.

Costing collected and reviewed across relevant markets, presented in comparable format.

04

Coordinating sample production, shipping, and revision cycles.

Sample process managed end-to-end — from brief to buyer approval.

05

Following up production timelines and resolving issues across time zones.

Production monitored with regular updates and issue resolution handled on the ground.

06

Coordinating quality checks, documentation, and logistics from factory to warehouse.

Quality and shipment coordinated through one channel — no dropped threads at the critical stage.

Quality

Quality is not an inspection. It's a process.

Five checkpoints, woven through production — not tacked on at the end. Each one catches problems earlier, when they're still cheap to fix.

01

Material Inspection

Fabric and trims checked on arrival — before cutting begins.

02

Pre-Production Approval

First-off pieces reviewed against tech pack and buyer comments.

03

Inline Inspection

Checks during sewing — catching issues on the line, not after.

04

Final Inspection

Structured final inspection of finished goods before packing.

05

Packing Audit

Carton counts, labelling, and packaging verified for shipment.

About

Rajdeep SinghCameotra

Founder — MM Fashions · Toronto, Canada

MM Fashions is built on a simple premise: the person representing the buyer should understand both sides of the table — the commercial pressure of range planning and margin targets, and the practical reality of how garments are actually made.

Rajdeep brings approximately 20 years of apparel industry experience — buyer-side commercial work with international brands on sourcing decisions, cost negotiations, and delivery planning, combined with direct factory experience in India and established factory and sourcing relationships across Bangladesh and China.

The result is a buying house that speaks both languages fluently. Not a factory. Not a brand. An independent partner that sits between the buyer and the supply chain, making sure nothing gets lost in translation.
